Behind the Lens of Scott Davis If you have a look at the February edition of VOICE Louisville you might recognize a familiar face! SFS alum and now wildlife & travel photographer! "His work has been featured in publications like National Geographic, The New York Times and Men’s Journal, to name a few." "My high school, St. Francis, had a darkroom and a supportive photography teacher who was always encouraging my craft. Later in life, even during my early professional career that focused on wildlife and marine science research, a camera was never far from my hand. I often incorporated photography as a tool to help tell the story of my various wildlife study subjects." Read the full article here.
Briefly describe your path after leaving St. Francis. After high school, I attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana and graduated a year early. Once I completed my undergraduate degree, I attended law school at the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City, which had an accelerated program that allowed me to complete law school a semester early. After law school, I moved to Los Angeles, California and worked in a boutique, entertainment law firm for a few years. In 2001, I moved back to Louisville and began to practice law in Kentucky, focusing on complex family law cases. Currently, I am a Partner and the head of the family law department at the law firm of Clay Daniel Walton Adams PLC in Louisville, Kentucky. On occasion, I still litigate a few entertainment law issues as well. In my free time, I hike, climb mountains, whitewater raft, and kayak (on occasion), and when I am on the coast, I surf. […]

I joined Teach for America upon graduation and was placed as a bilingual (Spanish/English) elementary teacher in a dual language charter school in its first year in Phoenix, AZ. Being part of a school in its founding years was a great experience that afforded lots of leadership opportunities. […]

Briefly describe your path after leaving St. Francis. After leaving St. Francis, I joined the school that the wonderful Kit Llewellyn recommended I visit as a junior in high school: Mercer University. Two-thirds of your classmates won’t be here next year.” There were 375 people in that classroom that day. On graduation day, there were only four of us (including St. Francis’ own Brad Green G’02, ’06). […]
